First Day of School

We have made it through 2 weeks of school and everyone still seems to be happy. Here are the boys on the first day!

We Love the Lynch's

Thanks to our personal shoppers Tami and Erin (supported in spirit by Ken and Andrew) we were able to get have really sweet dreams the night before school!

Runaway Baby!

I put Jack into his playpen so I could unload the dishwasher and when I went back to get him the playpen was empty. I was shocked and a little scared until I realized somehow he had wiggled himself under the padding. I was worried about suffocation and injury but he was happy as a clam. I am pleased to report there were no lasting side effects!

Shedd Aquarium

Matthew has wanted to visit the Shedd Aquarium since he read a story about Nickle the rescused sea turtle in his Ranger Rick magazine almost 2 years ago (www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyYLUwoQTrU).

Cameron got to watch stingrays get fed and I touched a sea star.

They had a great time but I think one of the highlights of the day was riding the train into the city.

Legoland!

First stop in Chicago - Legoland. The boys loved it from the dorky rides to the 3d movie it was kid heaven. Mike just loved the gift shop and huge lego models.

Walter Day 8

Walter is growing bigger every day.

My little watermelon!

For 32 years I have been trying to grow a watermelon... finally it has worked. Keep checking back for updates on Walter the Watermelon.

Walter - day 5

We are also growing sunflowers, cucumber, zucchini, beans and 3 kinds of tomatoes! Thank goodness the pumpkins, lettuce, peppers, blueberries, carrots and asparagus didn't grow, we don't have the room. It's our first garden, it's a hands-on learning experience.

Matthew's New Haircut

Matthew decided he wanted a mohawk this summer. After mommy vetoed that idea he decided he wanted his head shaved. Mommy said fine after Uncle Chris' wedding. So today he got his first self selected hair cut. He has never had this little hair in his life!

Happy 100th Birthday BGSU!

We've spent the weekend celebrating the centennial at BGSU. It has been a lot of fun! On Friday evening we went to the reception at the Alumni Center where we met a lot of people and enjoyed some appetizers and drinks. We were up early on Saturday to participate in the 5K. Mike is really concerned because two of the people who beat us were 70 and 73, but they weren't pushing 3 kids.

Then we renewed our vows at the Falcon Flames ceremony that was followed by a great reception at the president's house. We wrapped things up tonight by attending the birthday bash party. Everyone is tired but happy!

T-ball!

Matthew is partaking in America's favorite past time this summer and he loves it. He is on the green dragons. If you ever need something funny in your life go to your local park and watch 6-7 year olds try to play baseball - it is hilarious! They can't throw or catch and usually don't know which way to run, if they run at all.

A Month Later...

Okay, I am terrible at this. Jack is now two months old and cute as can be. He has reflux so he gets fussy but not too bad. Big brothers still adore him. He smiles and laughs all the time!

Jackson is 1 month!

It is hard to believe Jackson is 1 month old already. We are all adjusting to our new lives. The boys adore him, Matthew loves to read him books and Cameron helps give him baths.
